Refund & Pre-Order Policy

Pre-Orders

When you pre-order MAUD — Heirs to a Broken Age through themaudsaga.com, you’re reserving a copy from our first print run.
Payment is taken immediately to secure your order.
All pre-orders include guaranteed delivery within the announced release window.

If you wish to cancel your pre-order before dispatch, contact us at contact@themaudsaga.com and we’ll arrange a full refund.
Once your order has shipped (or has been collected at an event), it becomes non-refundable except in the circumstances described below.

Damaged or Faulty Items

If your book arrives damaged or defective, email contact@themaudsaga.com within 14 days of delivery with photos of the issue.
We will replace your copy or, if a replacement isn’t possible, issue a full refund.

Digital Products

Digital pre-orders (eBooks) are non-refundable once download links have been sent.
If you experience technical issues accessing your file, contact us and we’ll ensure you receive a working copy.

Shipping & Delivery

  • UK deliveries: 17 – 28 November 2025

  • Free pickup: Liverpool Comic Con (15 – 16 November 2025)

  • Worldwide release: 28 November 2025

All orders containing pre-order items ship together once those items are ready.
We currently ship within the United Kingdom only.

Returns for Other Reasons

We cannot accept returns based on change of mind or minor imperfections inherent to the printing process.
